I grew up homeschooled and thus had time on my hands, which I used, as much as any child intentionally uses time, to foster my love of stories. I am an avid reader and have devoured many books, which continues to fuel that love.
Even though analyzing and reading stories is highly enjoyable, I learned that creating them is just as much fun. What goes in has to come back out at some point. I started writing stories when I was younger, but they were the childish stories that still make me cringe a little bit. I pushed through, though, thanks mainly to all of my siblings writing stories as well, some more advanced in their writing than others, due to age differences. Now that I have the opportunity to do so, I wanted to share these stories, even if it’s just for the personal satisfaction of knowing I’m not hoarding them.
